About me

Academic qualifications

I hold a degree in English Language Teaching from the National Pedagogical Institute Monterrico, a Master's degree in Education Management and a Doctor's degree in Education from San Marcos University. I also hold the Certificate in Proficiency in English of the University of Michigan, U.S.A., and the Certificate of MS Office Expert Specialist from CIBERTEC. My last training was in Coaching at the PUCP, and a Diploma in Education Management at Escuela de Directores of IPAE.

Working experience

 My experience includes the position of Coordinator of the Programa de Licenciatura para Profesores sin Título Pedagógico en Lengua Extranjera, in the Faculty of Education of San Marcos University, the position of Deputy Headmaster at El Pinar School in Huaraz, and Pedagogical Specialist of the English Area for Primary at the Ministry of Education. I have also carried out several projects which include language centers, Teacher Training Programs and virtual learning platforms. My last project was an ELT Virtual Diploma at the Faculty of Language Arts of the UNMSM. At present, I am working for UPC.

On the other hand, I am a member of Colegio de Profesores del Perú. I am a founder of IATEFL-PERU; member of the English Language Teaching Contacts Scheme (ELTeCS), and member of the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language: Teacher Trainers & Educators Special Interest Group. I have ample experiece as ELT Advisor, having given workshops throughout the country as a consultant for Pearson, Macmillan and Greenwich.
